What makes us human, and how do we differ from one another walking alongside ourselves, and where do we begin? I believe we all started from a rough sketch outline beyond our surface of differences. Sometimes we are still able to show it.
Beyond what we see on the surface, underneath we are all the same constructed design.

This abstract painting was my interpretation of what I saw with each visit leading up to my departure, which was in view, a growing city that endlessly builds from the ground up.

I wanted to capture the feeling of freedom in this painting. The idea is to not be down on what life presents to us, rather to be grateful and to capture each moment no matter what is pouring down on you from the outside.
Life can be creatively beautiful if we let it.
